JFJO on Film
This is a great video of a truly amazing trio -- gives you a full sense of what these guys are about. Shows you how their playing can be at once sensitive and crazed, and how they keep on pushing themselves to the brink. Always challenging themselves and each other. Brace yourself for a wild ride -- the best is watching Reid communicate on his bass. Wow.
This is JFJO in an acoustic setting, meaning upright bass and grand piano. A different taste from the electric band -- so refreshing, so original.
Not to be missed,
MJ
